Breast lift surgery is one of the most common procedures in plastic surgery.

Breast lift surgery is primarily performed surgically under general anesthesia. For cases of mild sagging, local anesthesia and a crescent-shaped incision may be chosen. The scars, which usually heal well, may have an inverted “T” shape, a single vertical scar, or only periareolar scars.

During our initial consultation, we’ll need to gather a detailed medical history and conduct a clinical examination. At this stage, we determine the degree of sagging and select the type of mastopexy to be performed. Detailed instructions are always provided before the surgery regarding the procedure, indications, contraindications, outcomes, complications, and postoperative course.

How is it carried out?

Before the surgery, we take photographs of the breasts and perform preoperative checks. This includes complete blood count, urinalysis, glucose, urea, creatinine, electrolytes, lipid profile, and if deemed necessary, hormonal testing, electrocardiogram, and chest X-ray. Women over 35 years old undergo mammography. Detailed instructions regarding the discontinuation or continuation of medication, smoking, sun exposure before and after the surgery are provided by our experienced staff.

The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and lasts up to 2.5 hours, while if combined with silicone implant insertion, it can last up to 3.5 hours.

In recent years, as an alternative to traditional breast augmentation, lipofilling with Nanofat therapy has been chosen, which is fast, safe, and yields impressive results!
